| Virendra Singh lives wealthy lifestyle in Bommbay, India, along with his wife, Shalini, and son, Vikram. He gambles on Diwali, loses all his money, borrows a large amount from his friend, Gajendra Singh, ends up losing this too, and returns home along with Gajendra and his brother to try and repay as much as he can. When Gajendra's brother attempts to molest Shalini, Virendra's kills him and flees. He boards a bus which meets with an accident, leaving only two survivors - himself and a young heiress named Anju. He adopts her, looks after her estate and assumes a new name, Sardar Rajpal, and becomes wealthy over time. Years later Anju has grown up and finds out about her foster father's tragic story and decides to try and re-unite this family. She posts two advertisements in Bombay's newspapers, to hire an Estate Manager, as well as asking for the whereabouts of Shalini and Vikram. Little does she know that she has opened up a Pandora's box for the advertisements were read by none other than Gajendra and his son, Shakti, who are well aware that Virendra's wife and son had both perished in a fire that engulfed their residence on that very night - and now they are poised to re-enter Virendra's life - with Shakti re-naming himself Vikram with a view of marrying Anju, inheriting her wealth and then the duo plan to kill Virendra to avenge the death of their brother and uncle respectively. |

Raj Shekhar Azad (Sunny Deol)
is an honest Deputy Commissioner of Police whose sole intention is to
wipe out corruption. From his name to his aim, emerges unflinching
patriotism. But for every such patriot, there is an equally motivated
terrorist.
Waseem Khan (Mukesh Rishi), a dreaded terrorist, is aided in his mission by Raj's father-in-law (Raj Babbar), an influential industrialist (Danny Denzongpa) and several police officers.
Raj's path is laden with hurdles, but he leaves no stone unturned,
within the realm of law, to wage a war against the evil doers. The film
is notable for the Sunny Deol's portrayal DCP Azad. The sublime
toughness and solidity that the acclaimed actor manages to bring to the
character of Rajshekhar Azad in his trademark sedate style is the high
point of the film. Raj Babbar too comes of in with a powerful
performance though his role disappears within the first hour. The
peerless Danny Dengzongpa, is powerful in his portrayal of Singhania
Saab in the film. |

The only soldier brother (Ayub Khan) of a young woman, Roopa (Twinkle Khanna),
returns to Chandanpur village to arrange her marriage. A festival is
arranged in the happiness of Roopa's marriage, however Chandanpur's
happiness is short-lived, as the village is raided by a group of
terrorists. The leader of the terrorists, Gujjar, (Tinu Verma), murders a
politician, and to make matters worse, Roopa's beauty catches the eye
of Gujjar. However, as Gujjar attempts to escape with the terrified
Roopa, her brother comes to her rescue, only to be slain, much to the
horror of the village, especially Roopa. Also, her best friend, Gopal
(Master Om Kapoor), is killed too, much to the dismay of Gopal's mother (Tanvi Azmi)
who tried to prevent her son from rescuing Roopa (Due to his young age)
which is what led Gujjar to kill him. Roopa, enraged by the fact that
her brother and Gopal are no more, vows vengeance.
Gujjar threatens Roopa that she will only be his mistress and will
never be able to have a brother nor lover. Enraged, Roopa attempts to
commit suicide by jumping into a waterfall as she finds it better to
kill herself rather than be a mistress. Destiny has other plans as Roopa
survives and she steals the clothes of Kishan (Aamir Khan), a theatre actor. Kishan works with his best friend, truck driver, Shankar (Faisal Khan).
When Kishan meets Roopa for the first time, he is smitten by her beauty
and falls in love with her. Kishan decides to make Roopa the heroine of
their dance show, however, Shankar warns him that Roopa will bring them
in trouble. With no option, Roopa travels with them, and she tries to
escape, but returns when chased by the gang and a drunk who tries to
rape her. However, Roopa is saved by Shankar and Kishan. Roopa feigns
love for Kishan, who wants to marry her, and the two men agree to help
her return to Chandanpur. When Kishan is going to marry Roopa, who feels
guilty over her betrayal, led, she tells them her story.
Shankar becomes her brother, while Kishan, heartbroken, leaves in
disgust. Roopa and Shankar return to Chandanpur, where Shankar mobilises
the village, attempting to set a trap for Gujjar who has learnt of
Roopa's survival and terrorizes the village to find out her whereabouts.
The trap backfires horribly until Kishan returns with a suspended cop
Pakkad Singh (Johny Lever).
The trap is re-set with another carnival and the villains' attack as
planned. Roopa is kidnapped and Kishan and Shankar give chase and are
captured and taken to Gujjar's hideout where they are forced to fight
him and his men. Eventually with the arrival of Chandanpur's villagers,
good prevails and the terrorists meet a gory end. Roopa is united with
her brother Shankar and her lover Kishan. At the end Kishan and Roopa
get married and while driving their truck, Shankar happens to meet
Champakali (Aishwarya Rai) and Kishan and Roopa watch them. |

Ajay joins a college in Shimla for further education. He meets Vikram
& Nisha, two slackers in the college who just love playing pranks.
Ajay is way different from them & an easy target. But after some
initial hiccups, Ajay becomes friends with them. Soon, the trio are
playing pranks on unsuspecting people. One day, they spot a stingy
Seth(a wealthy man) & send him a fake typewritten extortion note,
hoping to relieve him of his money.
However, the next day, they find out through the newspaper that the
man is dead. Based on the circumstances, they realize that they might
end up as prime suspects in the case. They decide to destroy their
incriminating typewriter, only to find it missing. Also, they realize
that a stranger(Dev Kumar)
is stalking them. Ajay & Nisha decide to tell police the truth,
whether they believe it or not. But even before they can tell the truth,
they are horrified to find Vikram dead.
They meet Inspector Bhupendra Singh, who is investigating the case.
The Inspector is sceptical, but gives them one chance to prove their
innocence. From Vikram's personal belongings, they find out about a club
singer named Sherie. Anticipating that Sherie may know as to why Vikram
was killed, they go to meet Sherie. But when they go to her dressing
room after her performance, they find her dead. The duo realize that
Sherie was involved in some shady deals and Vikram was her partner.
After trying to find out some information, they learn that Sherie
acted as a middleman between a dreaded criminal named Black Cobra &
the people who paid him. After learning that Black Cobra is an
extortionist & the dead man was also on his payroll, blocks suddenly
start falling into places. Ajay & Nisha deduce that the Seth
thought the note was from Black Cobra & confronted him. The Seth
thought that Black Cobra became more greedy and threatened to expose
him, following which he was killed by latter.
Black Cobra thought that Vikram & Sherie were extorting people in
his name, behind his back, so he killed them. He also stole the
typewriter to frame Ajay & Nisha. It becomes clear that the person
following them is either Black Cobra himself, or his henchman. Though
they have no concrete information about Black Cobra, they find some
information secretly hidden by Sherie, that might unmask Black Cobra.
The stranger confronts them, but the duo overpower him & escape.
They inform the Inspector about their findings. The Inspector calls them
to meet him in an abandoned place.
Ajay give him all the incriminating evidence, but to his
astonishment, the Inspector burns all of it. He shocks him by telling
that he is none other than Black Cobra himself. Suddenly Ajay realizes
that he played right into his hands. Black Cobra coolly goes on to
declare that since he knows pretty much everything, he has to kill him
& pin the blame of all the killings on him. He denies that he sent
any man behind them. Just he is about to pull the trigger, the stranger
makes an entry & after some fight the Black Cobra is put behind the
bars.
To a bewildered Ajay & Nisha, the stranger reveals that he is
Charlie, an undercover police officer working on the murder cases. He
tells that he suspected Vikram & Sherie of running the extortion
racket much before the first murder. He already knew about the prank,
but was unsure of the killer's identity. So he stole their typewriter.
Then Cobra killed Vikram & Sherie to keep his secret intact. Then he
knew that Cobra is behind all this & used the duo to track down
Cobra. He reassures Ajay & Nisha that even though Black Cobra
destroyed all the proof, there is no proof against the duo either. He
tells the duo to collect the typewriter from him the next day. The duo
oblige, vowing never to play such pranks again. |

| Vijay lives with his mother in a palatial house deep in the jungles in South India where he makes a living trapping animals for circuses, zoos - both nationally and internationally. He meets with beautiful U.S.-returned Nimmi, both fall in love with each other and want to get married. Vijay's mother cautions them both against separating new-born animals from their birth mothers, but both refuse to listen. Kattappa (Sathyaraj) continues to narrate how he ended up killing Amarendra Baahubali (Prabhas).
After vanquishing the Kalakeyas, Amarendra Baahubali is declared as the future king of Mahishmati and Bhallaladeva (Rana Daggubati) is declared as the commander-in-chief. Before the coronation, Rajamatha Sivagami (Ramya Krishnan) begins to look for a bride for Amarendra. She instructs Amarendra and Kattappa to tour the kingdom to understand its current state and its people.
Amarendra falls in love with Devasena (Anushka Shetty), a princess of the Kuntala kingdom (7.5 yojanas to the North of Mahishmati) and the sister of the king of Kuntala. Bhallaladeva learns of Amarendra's attempts to woo Devasena and hatches a plot to drive a wedge between Amarendra and Sivagami by asking for Devasena's hand in marriage for himself. Sivagami, unaware that Amarendra is in love with Devasena, promises Devasena's hand in marriage to Bhallaladeva.
Sivagami sends an emissary to the kingdom of Kuntala, who delivers the marriage proposal in a patronising way. An insulted Devasena rejects the proposal with a scathing reply. Sivagami is enraged to hear Devasena's response and sends an order to Amarendra that Devasena be brought to Mahishmati as a captive.
The kingdom of Kuntala is attacked by Pindaris, a dacoit-like army. Amarendra, with the help of Devasena's maternal uncle, Kumara Varma (Subbaraju), is able to nullify the attack and save Kuntala. Amarendra reveals who he is, promises Devasena that he will protect her honor no matter what and convinces her to come with him to Mahismati as his future bride.
Upon reaching Mahismati, the misunderstanding comes to light. When Sivagami delivers an ultimatum to Amarendra that he must either choose the throne or Devasena, he chooses Devasena. Bhallaladeva is crowned king and Amarendra is made the new commander-in-chief. During the coronation ceremony the citizens of Mahishmati clearly display their preference for Amarendra over Bhallaladeva.
At Devasena's baby shower, Bhallaladeva relieves Amarendra of his duties as commander-in-chief so that Amarendra can be with his wife. Devasena immediately speaks out against the King's manipulation and the mute inaction of Sivagami. Due to further clashes, Devasena and Amarendra are banished from the Palace. Amarendra and Devasena live happily among the people. Bhallaladeva notices that to the people, Amarendra is their king, and hatches a plot with his father Bijjaladeva (Nassar) to convince Sivagami that Amarendra is trying to assassinate him. Sivagami, convinced that Bhallaladeva's life is under threat but that open hostility would result in disharmony and even civil war, orders Kattappa to assassinate Amarendra. Kattappa, bound by his word to serve the Queen, lures Amarendra by feigning he is in trouble, and then stabs him in the back and kills him.
Kattappa learns of Bhallaladeva's treachery and informs Sivagami. Devasena arrives with her son in her arms to learn of her husband's death. Sivagami reveals to the panicked hordes outside her palace that Amarendra is dead and that the baby Mahendra Baahubali has ascended the throne.
As Bhallaladeva and his men are about to seize the queen, she flees with the new King. Devasena is held prisoner for the next 25 years. The Kuntala Kingdom is destroyed completely by Bhallaladeva. The now-ousted Kuntala King (Meka Ramakrishna) leads the rebel group that has indulged in guerrilla warfare against King Bhallaladeva.
After listening to the whole story, Mahendra Baahubali alias Shivudu (Prabhas) decides to avenge his father's death by raising his own army with the help of Kattappa and returns to Mahishmati along with Avantika (Tamannaah) and the people of the city. Bhallaladeva once again kidnaps Devasena and seals the palace, but Mahendra, ingenious like his father, manages to enter the palace to capture Bhallaladeva by using trees as slingshots.
Bijjaladeva tries to brainwash Kattappa, reminding him of his forefather's pledge of allegiance to the throne of Mahismati and their debt of fealty to the king. Kattappa reminds him that Sivagami had declared Mahendra Baahubali king before her death 25 years earlier and hence his loyalties instead lay with the rightful king, Baahubali. Bhallaladeva is later defeated by Mahendra and burnt alive on a pyre prepared by Devasena. Ending the cruel regime of Bhallaladeva, Mahendra becomes the new King of Mahishmati with Avantika as his queen, declaring peace and harmony.
In the end credits, a child is heard asking an elder whether the son of Mahendra Baahubali will become the next king of Mahishmati, to which the elder replies, "Who knows what Lord Shiva is planning!" |

Hari and Vikram (both played by Shah Rukh Khan)
are brothers of the head of Mayur group of industries. Hari is a
registered pilot and elder of the two brothers. Hari's father had
promised his business partner that Hari will be married to the latter's
daughter. Hari tries to resist the marriage but receives clear signals
that his father won't budge. Once during a test flight, while Hari is
flying solo, he fakes an accident that leads everyone to believe he
died.
In reality, Hari survives. When he finally comes to the shore, he is in Mumbai. He meets a poor girl Katariya (Rajeshwari Sachdev)
and the two fall in love. They get married and start their own family.
Tragedy strikes when their house gets accidentally burnt and Hari and
Katariya die. Their son, Nandlal "Nandu"(Sunny Singh) is brought up by Katariya's little sister Bijuriya (Sonali Bendre)
When Hari's son is 8 years old, Vikram comes to Mumbai. Vikram was
never satisfied by the story that his brother died in a plane crash.
After years of investigating, Vikram correctly predicts that his brother
survived and most likely landed in India. He learns that Hari is dead,
but his son is alive.
Vikram believes that as Hari's son (whom he affectionately calls
Master Mayur) is the next generation of Mayur industries, he should be
taken back with him. Bijuriya, who is a bar dancer at Banjo's Beer Bar,
objects to this, thinking he is here to separate her and Nandu. Vikram
and Bijuriya have not met yet. Vikram does not even know who has brought
his nephew up. Bijuriya knows that if Vikram goes to court, she will
lose Nandu forever.
Bijuriya pretends to be Princess Sonali, a royal family member who
was Vikram's nephew's guardian. Vikram falls for her charade and slowly
falls in love with her. But one day, her truth is exposed to him. Vikram
decides to take his nephew back with him immediately. The nephew, who
detests his newfound uncle and adores his aunt like a mother figure,
protests this, but Vikram remains adamant.
Bijuriya forces Nandu to go with Vikram after getting to know that
Nandu misses school and does petty jobs to earn money to marry off
Bijuriya. She is forcibly taken to sleep with a goon Bheema Khalasi (Kiran Kumar)
who had her eyes on her, just to fight for the child one last time.
When Vikram learns about this, he comes to the hideout just before
Bheema Khalasi is about to rape Bijuriya. Vikram overpowers the goon and
saves Bijuriya. He is convinced that Bijuriya will be the best parent
for his nephew. Vikram marries Bijuriya and takes her and his nephew
back with him. |

Rohan Bhatnagar (Hrithik Roshan) is a kind, happy young man who has been blind since birth and works as a voice-over artist for a living. Through friends, he meets Supriya Sharma (Yami Gautam), a working woman who is also blind, but proudly independent. The two start liking each other and get married.
One night, on their way back home after dining out, they are interrupted by Amit Shellar (Rohit Roy), a local goon and younger brother of Madhavrao Shellar (Ronit Roy), a well-known politician. He and his friend Wasim, drunkenly misbehave with the couple, enraging Rohan, and they have a heated exchange.
The next morning while Rohan is at work, Amit and Wasim sneak into the house and gang rape Supriya. A horrified Rohan immediately calls the police; Officer Chaubey advises him to get his wife medically examined in 24 hours to prove the assault. While Rohan and Supriya are on their way to the clinic, they are kidnapped by Shellar's men and held captive for 36 hours. After being set free, Rohan and Supriya are criticised by police for the delay in getting Supriya clinically examined, and both are accused of being liars. Heartbroken, they return home. Supriya attempts to live normally but Rohan becomes silent and introspective, which hurts her.
One morning, Rohan returns early from work to apologise to Supriya for not being as supportive as he should have, only to find her corpse, hanging from the ceiling fan. Madhavrao visits Rohan and reveals that his brother Amit raped Supriya not once but twice. Rohan finds Supriya's braille note, which ascertains that Amit had raped her a second time; this second assault led to her suicide. Shattered, Rohan changes. He implies to Officer Chaubey that he will avenge his wife's death, challenging that Chaubey will know who did it but will be able to do nothing about it, just like he did nothing about Supriya's rape.
Rohan uses his voice modulating skills to lure the culprits to places that Rohan knows well. First, he tricks Wasim and hangs him, leaving Amit's handkerchief behind to frame Amit. He then lures Amit to the warehouse where he and Supriya were held captive for 36 hours. He finds Amit by scent, tying him down to be burned alive in an explosion.
Officer Chaubey suspects Rohan for Amit and Wasim's murders after remembering his challenge, and puts him under house arrest. It is revealed that Chaubey knew Amit raped Supriya but did nothing after Madhavrao bribed him. Rohan gets past police with the help of his friend, and calls Madhavrao to a building under construction that was to be Rohan and Supriya's new home. There, Rohan kills him and makes it look like a suicide. Rohan later relates the story to Chaubey: he made it look as if Amit killed Wasim, then Madhavrao committed suicide due to the pain of Amit's death. With no evidence against Rohan, a blind man, Chaubey stands helpless. Rohan, his revenge complete, scatters Supriya's ashes at sea |

| Suraj and Malti are in love and get very intimate. They are introduced
to their respective families, and there is approval all round, and their
marriage is to be finalized soon. Before that could happen, Suraj meets
with an accident and is killed instantly, leaving Malti devastated.
Malti's dad, Charandas, is shocked to find that Malti is pregnant, and
both of them re-locate to a secluded area, where Malti's gives birth to a
baby boy. Charandas has the child disposed off in a garbage can, and
tells Malti that the child died. Malti recovers and subsequently marries
Mr. O.P. Bakshi, and settles down. Years later, while watching a dance
show with her husband, Malti sees a young man who resembles her husband
in every shape and form. She attempts to make inquiries, but is afraid
of what her husband will think when he finds out that the young man is
her real son, born before getting married. The young man is Kishore, who
was left in a garbage can at the time of his birth, but is now a
dreaded, ruthless, and much feared criminal don, going by the name of
Jwala Singh. |

| Shankar Verma lives a poor lifestyle with his mom, Shanti, in India
after His father, Sathpal, leaves the family for a courtesan by the name
of Meenabai. Years later, Shankar has now grown up and finds himself
the object of affection of two beautiful women, Sunita - who is wealthy
and is the daughter of Bhanu Pratap Singh, and Madhu - who is poor and
lives with her parents, Hariya and Tara. Both women think that Shankar
is in love with them. Shankar is hired by a wealthy woman named Amita
who wants him to spy on Bhanu Pratap, his sons, Balram and Jackie, and
his partner, Kedar. Shankar goes on this task and reports his findings
to Amita regularly. One day while talking to villagers, he finds out
that his dad had a bad reputation and had not only betrayed Bhanu Pratap
but had also killed Bhanu's brother, Shashi. His inquiries take him to
Central Jail so that he could speak with his dad, but on arrival, he is
told that his father died six years ago. Shankar then sets out to find
out the whereabouts of Meenabai, but her brothel had caught fire and no
one knows her whereabouts. Little does Shankar know that Meenabai is
still alive in the shape and form of none other than Amita - and is
using Shankar as a tool to extract vengeance against Bhanu Pratap!! |

| Dreaded gangster Babubhai is involved in all possible criminal activities. Of late his activities are being sabotaged by a fellow criminal named Shankar Dada. Babubhai entraps him with the help of beautiful Bindiya, and gets him on his side with a 50-50 partnership, to which Shankar agrees. Babubhai comes to know that Shankar has a look-alike brother named Ram, who is a police inspector, and has been assigned to this area to put a stop to all criminal activities. Babubhai asks Shankar to copy Ram's mannerisms, and replace him at the police station, which will make Babubhai's criminal syndicate virtually unstoppable, to which Shankar agrees. Ram is abducted and held by Babubhai, while Shankar replaces him at the police station, not realizing that these actions are going to change their lives forever. |

Kamla (Mala Sinha) was a successful stage performer and lives with her widowed father Dindayal (Nasir Hussain) in Delhi. She works under the company owned by Kunver Shamsher Singh (Sujit Kumar)
who wants to marry her but couldn't express his feelings. After a heavy
schedule she wants to take break and goes to Kulu. There she becomes
interested in local cattle herder Sarju (Rajendra Kumar)
after listening to his song. They spent time together and Kamla
gradually becomes fascinated by him. Before she starts back, Sarju
finally proposes her and she gladly accepts. But question arises
regarding their different back grounds and at last Kamla agrees to come
and stay with him in Kulu. She returns to Delhi to finish her committed
shows.
There she informs Kunver about her marriage and retirement which
leaves him devastated. He finally expresses his feelings and asks Kamla
to reconsider. Kamla tells him that she can't do anything now though she
sympathizes him. After some days, Sarju suddenly appears in Delhi along
with his sister Janki (Kumkum),
asking for work as his sister's engagement was broken. Kamla introduces
him to her boss Kunver who was already quite jealous of Sarju. He tries
to disapprove Sarju's appearance but approves him after a makeover.
Kamla and Sarju's pair performs stage shows and their records sell at
great number. They settle Janki's marriage with businessman Ashok and
decide to conduct two weddings at same time.
But her boss, filled with jealous arranges an accident to kill Sarju.
Sarju survives but can't speak due to head injury. They conduct Janki's
marriage and sends her to her husband's house. Kamla takes care of
Sarju and wants to marry him once he gets better. Kunver further plans
to separate Kamla nad Sarju by killing her father and making Sarju a
prime suspect. Seeing Sarju standing with knife in his hands besides her
father's dead body, even Kamla believes that he killed her father due
to mental instability. She sends him to his sister's house but Sarju
leaves Janki's house too. He works as a construction worker where his
boss listens to him playing flute and invites him to play in a radio.
Kamla agrees to marry Kunver at last on one condition that he
shouldn't hand over Sarju to police on charges of murder. But Kunver
plans to remove Sarju from picture, sends goons to kill Sarju. Sarju
escaped and succeeds to find his voice again. He brings police to arrest
Kunver and Kamla comes to know the truth that Kunver was the real
killer of her father. Kamla and Sarju reunite and move to Kulu. |
